You and your family likely have food allergies known as food sensitivities that you are not even aware of that contribute to inflammation which greatly increases your risk of chronic conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), obesity, achy joints, Rheumatoid Arthritis, headaches, eczema, insomnia, high cholesterol, cancer, a sluggish metabolism and many other disorders. Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), asthma and eczema in children are on the rise and are commonly a direct result of food sensitivities that can be reversed with a corrected diet.

Foods that cause an immediate reaction and trigger Immunoglobulin E antibodies (IgE) produce symptoms such as abdominal cramping and tightening of the throat. Because severe food allergies are easy to detect, people know what to eliminate in order to avoid acute illness.

Foods that trigger Immunoglobulin G antibodies (IgG) cause a delayed reaction which induce less severe symptoms like bloating or fatigue, and may take up to 72 hours to appear. This type of reaction is known as a food sensitivity. Often, people are unaware that they have food sensitivities and keep eating the foods that create inflammation in their bodies! Over time, this commonly evolves into chronic pain and health disorders.

For this reason, it is greatly beneficial to have your food sensitivities checked and create an individualized meal plan based on what foods you tolerate best. Electromagnetic Muscle Testing (EMT) is one way to diagnose food sensitivities. Based on the internal energy practice of Chinese Medicine, muscle testing is a non-invasive way of evaluating the body’s imbalances and individual needs. It involves testing the body’s responses by applying slight pressure to a large muscle, most often the deltoid muscle at the base of the arm. This allows me to identify energy blockages, food allergies and sensitivities, nutritional deficiencies and the health of organs, as well as create a comprehensive meal plan that includes foods and supplements based on a person’s individual needs.
