Cleanse – 10 Day Detox Challenge

by Suzanne at May 1st, 2010 in ArticlesContestsDetox

Anyone want to join me in a cleanse even if for only a day?  I am committed to detoxing for the next 10 days and will write about my experience.

My goals for the cleanse:

1) Lose the bags and dark circles under my eyes.

2) Commit to following 10 Day Spring Cleanse Meal Plan (under recipe section or go to – http://naturalmedicineandnutrition.com/2010/05/01/10-day-natural-spring-cleanse/).

3) Commit to eating 100% organic 100% of the time.

4) Use no plastic.  Buy nothing in plastic except for water, and  since I just thought of this one, the arugula salad greens I already bought this morning.

Wish me luck!

I am so into this idea! What do I need and how do I start?

Love it! Read the 10 day meal plan cleanse in the recipe section and let me know what you think and when you can start! We can keep each other on track! Brussels Sprouts for dinner over here I think :)

This is what I look like when my two year old wakes me up at the crack of dawn!! I can’t wait to hear about your cleanse. I don’t think my family would survive if I joined you.

I love the idea of this detox. I’m wondering if there’s a good time to start a detox.

Ok, let me know how it goes!!! And if you feel good on it, push it to 2. Make sure you eat all the food so you don’t get hungry because you will crave the food your hunny is eating :) By the second day, that leveled out for me. I think the herbal tea helps to balance out cravings too.

The spring is the best time. Summer is ok too. I think the best time is when you are in the mood, motivated and have a little time to prepare shopping and what you are going to eat. Also, don’t plan to exercise. Light walking ok but best to meditate :)

    HI Suzanne,
Are there any side effects to the teas. I tried it for a day and I felt extremely dehydrated that night, I couldn’t seem to dring enough water, is this normal?

    Susan

  12. Suzanne says:

Hi, stop doing the teas then! Anytime, you take anything and feel a side effect – stop. If you have a busy day with kids and work, it might be too much for your body. Instead, drink room temperature water (Poland Springs or distilled water) with lemon. If you feel exhausted, make sure to consume all the food, liberalize with cold pressed olive oil and avocado, and if in a few days, you still feel run down, add clean lean proteins such as fish and organic chicken / turkey. Keep me posted!

  13. entire bodygood day…..
