Homemade Facial

My friends and I decided to have an at home spa night and we were able to create an amazing facial with food already in the house! This easy homemade facial made my skin feel amazing! It is so soft and looks great. I hope to make this one a weekly ritual for clear and soft skin!

Tomato Facial Scrub

Cut a tomato so that you can use the tomato halves as a scrub pad. Put the sugar on the tomato and scrub all over your face. This will exfoliate the skin. The lycopene in the tomato will also help protect the skin naturally from UV rays. Wait a few minutes before rinsing off the scrub so the nutrients in the  tomato can be fully absorbed.

Egg Facial

Separate an egg so that you have the egg white and egg yolk in separate containers. Put a thin layer of the egg white on all surfaces of your face and allow to dry. The egg white firms your skin while reducing the appearance of pores. Rinse and repeat with the egg yolk. The egg yolk will moisturize the skin while helping create a clear and healthy complexion.

Green Tea Ice Treatment

Brew some green tea and freeze it in an ice cube tray. When frozen, rub the ice cube all over your face to re tighten the skin while nourishing it with antioxidants that help protect the skin and slow the aging process. This will also reduce redness.

I love this facial because it is all natural and uses only ingredients from around the house. This saves a lot of money compared to contemporary over the counter remedies. I also like this facial because all the steps can be used independently to create the same affect. Have fun experimenting with these facial treatments. I know I will! :)

This is most definitely one of the best posts I have found on this subject. Have you looked into the opposite side of the topic of natural health? To be candid, I think a solid argument could be made either way, but please let me know if you have found more articles or sources on the Web to verify what you are saying.
